Another picture of Krystal from StarFox. I am extremly happy with the coloration. And my shading made her look furry. There was a symbol in the original that meant "water" but I thought it meant "kitsune", so I took it out.
Also, special thanks to:
and
for helping me fix up her anatomy, (the stomach line and her boobies), also, this will probably be my last picture of Krystal for a while. I need to work on my concentration art for my APart 2-D class.
Do you see the smbol down in the corner. It's my new "sig" and will probably be on most of my computer art from now on.
24 layers on Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0
Over 2 hours spent on line art, over 4 hours spent on color.
Krystal copyright Nintendo
100 dollars. But if you know someone that owns it, you can borrow it from them and install it on your computer. You shouldn't need the disk to run the program.

I really don't have anything witty to type here.
Nice coloring. But just to answer your question, nope, the Kanji in the background is water.
This is the Kanji for Fox (Kitsune): 狐.
(At least in my screen it shows correctly when I write it here, so I hope it really does show.)

And there, beneath a cherry tree shedding its blossoms, was a graceful gray fox standing proudly against the rising sun, the wind lightly rustling his fur...

I cried when Sawatari Makoto died. . . . . T~T
